He saw the world and was left wanting, 2015

Solo exhibition curated by Emer Lynch

He saw the world and was left wanting featured a series of installations using recorded and live images to access times and locations other than our own. Through viewer presence, an attempt at an intimate experience of remote parts of the planet is made. Inversely, however, in this attempt, the vastness of our disconnect from the depicted space, both geographic and personal, is revealed.

The exhibition; held at Siamsa Tíre, Tralee; featured the following works Alison, Work 1, Work 2, OMG maybe you saw me like ten minutes ago, die Reise and the exhibition essay An achievable thing is achieved.
